Emerica’s Wild in the Streets Wrap-Up
Skateboarders From All Over The Globe Took Over City Streets!

Lake Forest, CA - It’s hard to put into words the feeling you get when you’re skateboarding down a street with over 5,000 other skaters all around you. It’s pretty amazing to see everyone pushing as fast as they can, rolling to the next spot all for the love of skateboarding.

Emerica’s Wild in the Streets took over New York City on June 21, 2008 to help raise awareness for public skateboard parks in New York. Skateboarders rallied together and swarmed like bees down the streets on a five-mile journey from the Brooklyn Banks to the Manhattan Bridge Skatepark and then over to Tompkins Square Park, finally crossing over the Williamsburg Bridge to Brooklyn, where KCDC Skate Shop held a huge street party for all to enjoy.
